GLM to participate in 2007 IBEX show in Miami, Florida October 10-12th

GLM is proud to participate in the 2007 IBEX show for the first time. The IBEX exhibition features more than 800 OEM's and suppliers from throughout the world. Nowhere else do you have the opportunity to source and compare so many new products, tools, and technologies available to boat builders and the boating industry. Attendees can consult directly with product experts and engineering staff from many marine product manufacturers. The IBEX exhibit hall is free to all qualified marine industry professionals.

Extended warranty at no additional charge!

Effective September 1, 2005, the GLM 2 year warranty will be available on the following items: aluminum manifolds, risers, parts and accessories. All of GLM’s cast iron manifolds and risers will carry a 3 year warranty. At GLM, we are confident in the quality and reliability of our products, we are able to provide you and your customer this extra benefit and peace of mind. GLM offers the best warranty in the industry at no additional charge.

Disclaimer for Family & Performance Boating Magazine Article

Parts needed to install GLM (two piece) manifolds with 4” risers in place of the one piece Mercruiser Manifolds on the V6 Sterndrive engines.

Family and Performance Boating Magazine printed an article (Jan 2005 issue) on the installation of the GLM two piece manifolds in place of the Mercruiser one piece manifolds. GLM has not tested this installation and doesn’t sell a kit to make this installation. GLM will not accept any responsibility or liability for the effectiveness of such an installation. The Family and Performance Boating Magazine installation is similar to the Mercruiser manufacturers recommended replacement procedure except for the Mercruiser recommendation to also replace the exhaust Y-pipe (which requires removing the engine). The magazine performed the installation using the original Y-pipe.

GLM Press Release, Exhaust Manifolds

Get a performance increase along with an increase in fuel economy with the GLM free flowing exhaust manifolds. These manifolds divide the exhaust ports within the exhaust manifold to keep each cylinders spent gases separated from each other. With typical sand casting methods, the water jacket surrounding a marine manifold made manufacturing free flowing manifolds impossible. With the modern lost-foam casting method, the engineers at GLM have brought to the marine industry cast iron and aluminum free flowing high performance exhaust manifolds at very reasonable prices. These manifolds are an exact replacement for the stock manifolds.
